{The Art Noveau of Alphonse Maria Mucha}


I was browsing for cards in a shop and I came across an impressive collection of notebooks and calendars with stunning artwork, so I immediately looked for the credit and found out it was from a Czech artist named Alphonse Mucha. I, honestly have not heard of him before and so I googled him out, discovered that he became famous in his time yet ironically- he was too, an underrated artist. Mucha signified the era of Art Noveau 1860-1939, his work consists of posters, panels, prints, illustrations and traditional painting. His art is quite an ethereal and mesmerizing interpretation of the female form I think and it is truly eye-catching because of the intricate details in his work.
